If you want to add a discount button, say for staff/volunteer discount, or a temporary special offer, you can do this easily. follow the guide for adding/editing buttons in tengoPOS, but instead of product action, choose one of the following:
- Discount All: Will discount all items by the percentage specified.
- Discount Line: Will discount only the item currently selected in the transaction window by the specified percentage.
- Discount all variable: When pressed will allow user to specify a miscellaneous discount by amount, or percentage.
- Discount line variable: When pressed will allow user to specify a miscellaneous discount by amount, percentage, or ‘sell item at’ value, for the individual product / line currently selected.
