If you sell donated goods through tengoPOS but also on online marketplaces such as eBay, Tradera, Facebook marketplace etc., you will want to track the sale of the item(s) but not have them add to your cash, card, cheque totals.
To do this, you’ll need to add a button on the tender section, which you can call ‘Web’ or ‘eBay’ or whatever makes sense in your scenario, as shown below.
The configuration for the button in the button editor, is shown below.
Sales are then made in the normal way, but the payment type will be selected using your new button, if the item has been sold online. This will show in all slips/reports that are relevant, and Gift Aid can be claimed in the same way on donated goods – the location/platform you sell the item through/on makes no difference to that.
