An application called Splashtop is used so that Tengo engineers can gain remote access to your till machine, for providing technical support. It is therefore vital that the remote access software is installed.
Installation procedure
Click on the link below to download Splashtop (sometimes clicking the link doesn’t work depending on your browser, if so, copy and paste the link below into the address bar of your browser):

- Double click on the downloaded file to begin installation.
- Answer Yes to “Do you want this program to make changes” and allow the installer to run
- Keep an eye on the bottom left of your screen, in case the program is installing on the task bar and you are required to take action, usually flashes orange in this case. Left click once on it to open it up if this happens
- A box will appear Tengo Software Support. Click “Confirm”
- Installation is complete, you will see a grey box like this –
Please click the edit icon (pencil on paper) and make the computer name ‘Your Organisation Name – Your site name’ so our engineers will know which client and site this machine is for.
- Press the Security tab and “Blob” the “No additional password” line
- Please do not change any other settings, simply close the box with the cross in the top right corner, and Splashtop will run in the background
That is it, Splashtop installed.
