Not printing bar codes on receipts / end of day print cut short
The Epson printer can default to a setting where it thinks it has a short roll installed and therefore it restricts the length of print outs. To cure this problem we have to tell the printer that it has a long paper roll.
In Windows, go to the Control Panel (usually a left click on the Windows symbol in the extreme bottom left of your screen brings up a menu, one of the items will be Control Panel), then select Devices and Printers (under Hardware and Sound in the image below)
The Devices and Printers screen will look something like this –
Locate the Epson Printer, left click on it to get the menu.
Select “Printing Preferences” , then “Advanced” on the first page you see, then change the roll paper length from 80 x 297, to 80 x 3276 and press OK to save the change.
